Valve Index VR Headset (Headset Only, No Headstrap) - Grades D/E/F - Arcade & Repair Surplus

These are Valve Index headsets sold as-is, without headstraps, for repairers, tinkerers, arcade builders, and hobbyists. All units have been deep cleaned, fully tested, and graded. Most came from a bulk eBay purchase; a few were retired from our own arcade operations. Every headset has been powered on, optics inspected, and tracked in our internal asset system. No returns or refunds — what you see is what you get.

How We Grade

• D Grade: Fully functions, but cosmetic wear and/or minor lens blemishes. Expect missing face gasket, damaged or missing headstrap connector pieces (may require modification to attach a strap), exposed audio wire, and/or minor scuffs. Lenses may have light scratches or dust specs that are barely noticeable in-game. Some units include an original stock fabric facial interface (subject to availability). Front magnetic face plate may be missing on some units.
• E Grade: Functions, but with noticeable lens wear, heavy scratches, or blurry spots in-game. Some units may have significant display artifacts (black or yellow lines running through display). May have missing hardware (adjuster rod, screws), damaged rubber eye guards, and cosmetic damage. Lens condition varies; some have heavy wear that causes noticeable blurry spots. Front magnetic face plate may be missing.
• F Grade: For parts only. Typically missing major components, severe display artifacts, or other major failures. Lenses and other parts should be salvageable. 

What's Not Included

• No headstrap — retained for our own arcade stations. Perfect if you already have spare straps or are building a DIY rig.
• No cord / tether — available separately directly from Valve.
• No controllers or base stations — headset only.

Great for parts to repair your own units, tinkering/hobbyist projects, cheap hardware for arcades, or anyone comfortable with DIY VR hardware.
